You stand outside of Alexia's door, Room 108 in Lilith Hall. A group of fellow cadets decided to head over to Kora's for lunch, and you suggested that they invite the new cadet. They nominated you go invite her. While you're at it, you plan on asking her if you can borrow some money since you're short on dinars at the moment.
After waiting for a while, you open the door to find an empty room. You look cautiously to your left and right before quietly slipping inside.
The bunk is neatly made. Directly to the right is a small table with a couple of nearly-melted candles and a small frame. You walk over to get a closer look. Inside the frame is an intricately-carved picture of a regal-looking elderly man. Under the picture, the name NIKOLAOS is carved in Greek letters.
As you set down the frame, you see a small chest over in the corner. You walk over and open it to find a plethora of scrolls, arranged in strict alphabetical order. You humorously muse if Alexia is somehow related to Fiducious.
You glance at some of the scroll titles: DECIPHERING CARPATHIAN WRITING, HISTORY OF LYRE MUSIC, LEGEND OF THE PHEONIX, and stuffed at the very bottom is Alexia's biography.
After closing the chest, you notice a small bag that looks like a coin purse lying on the floor. You pick it up and peer inside; sure enough, there are a few dinars.
"I was wondering where I left that. I'm so glad you found it for me."
You turn around, startled by the voice. Alexia is leaning against the doorway, her arms folded, and a smirk across her face. Embarrassed, you explain that you came here with the intent to invite her to Kora's for lunch.
"And you were just going to 'borrow' a few dinars, huh?"
You admit that you're broke at the moment and politely ask if you could borrow some money, hoping that you haven't made her too mad.
Thankfully, Alexia's expression changes to a soft smile. "Sure you can. I don't have much, but I'd be more than willing to lend you some. Although I don't feel comfortable lending money to strangers, so let me introduce myself. I'm Alexia. And you are?"
You state your name and the two of you shake hands. You ask about the picture on the table.
"It's of my father," Alexia explained. "A local artisan carved it. It turned out pretty well, considering my father had a difficult time being still for so long."
You compliment the picture. Afterward, you suggest that since she doesn't have many dinars, maybe the two of you could split a slice of shepherd’s pie.
"Sounds like a plan," Alexia grinned as you and she head out to meet up with the other cadets at Kora's.
